A large barrier to cars lies in the “rigid” nature and upfront cost of annual car insurance, combined with continuously rising costs of running a car.

Monetization strategy

Cuvva earns revenue on each policy they sell and they intend to build additional revenue for each add-on that customers will be able to include. Subscription provides a recurring source of revenue.

• Cuvva's newest product - designed to completely disrupt the
  mainstream insurance market - is based off the question, "car ownership isn’t annual, so why should your insurance be?" 
• This option provides more flexibility and you don’t pay more for paying monthly. It’s arguably a better way to get insured.

Customer Growth: 

• Cuvva intends to scale rapidly through new distribution channels including partnerships, plus broader content and social initiatives to expand their reach.
